Summer Harvest Sale
Poster Design
This poster design was created for MiraCosta College's Horticulture Department. The purpose of this poster was to promote their summer harvest sale in 2022. The Horticulture Department cultivates many plants, vegetables, and fruits.
To achieve this concept I was tasked certain role in a team when creating this design in the Media Arts + Technologies at MiraCosta College. My role was to place the type on the poster in a way that went with the graphic. One student would be the one to Illustrate it and the other printed the drafts for presentation. To help out, I sketched out the main graphic and she was then able to have a
good starting point.
From there, I went in and recolored the illustration to go away from the standard colors in Adobe Illustrator. Then, I added the type using the font Gambado Sans, in which I found the positioning of the letters to fit great with the movement of the main graphic.
